- Sketch: I drew the sketch with mechanical pencil, sometimes I do messy sketchs like this one, because they are easy to delete with the eraser later.
- Lineart: A LOT of people ask me how I do my linearts so clean, and what thing I use to ink... well, the tool I use to ink is this thing: [link] I don't know how to called it, really (in my country we call them 'Tiralíneas', lol), but it's a ink pen. I use a 02 ink pen to do my linearts :3
- Base colors: I scaned the lineart and I colored in photoshop, I put the base colors first. This pic had just 9 base colors xDDDD
- Extra: In the base colors I put some darker colors as a first shade.
- Shading: To shade I use the brush with 25% of flow and I try to use two different colors as you can see in her dress (gray and a light red). And you know, I use mouse to color, so the pen tool and the polygonal lasso tool are my best friends here.
- Light effects: I used a new layer in soft light mode and I drew some ray lights. In other layer I put the white dots.
- Extra: More shading and color variations with the helpful tools in the 'Image' menu.
- Final touch ups.
